ABOUT MIDDLE TN VOLTAGE LACROSSE

Middle TN Voltage Lacrosse, based out of Thompson's Station,  is dedicated to providing elite coaching, competitive tournament opportunities, and a culture built on energy, discipline, and growth. Our program is rooted in Christian values and leadership while welcoming players of all backgrounds. Faith is encouraged, never forced.

We are a developmental travel lacrosse program designed to bridge the gap between recreational lacrosse and full summer travel lacrosse. Our primary focus is preparing both players and parents for the expectations of full summer travel lacrosse. We aim to empower athletes to reach their full potential on and off the field through intentional coaching, accountability, and respect for the game.

Meet Our Coaching Staff

Coach Michael

Michael has been coaching youth and high school lacrosse for years, including a season at Summit High School and is currently coaching the Thompson’s Station Thunder. His coaching philosophy centers around fundamentals, intensity, and character development.

Coach Reece

A former MTSU lacrosse player and current assistant coach for Thompson’s Station Thunder, Reece brings elite field vision and passing ability to the coaching staff. His experience coaching goalies also gives him a strong understanding of defensive concepts, allowing him to develop players on both sides of the ball.

Middle TN Voltage Lacrosse is a late spring to early summer travel lacrosse program serving upcoming 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys across Middle Tennessee.

Program Overview

  •  Season Length: 2 months ( April – mid June )

  • Practices: 16 total  

  • 4 practices (April to May ) Saturday mornings to avoid middle school conflicts 

  • 12 practices (May 2nd- June 15th, ) Tuesday and Thursday practices

  • Tournaments: 2 tournaments (one out-of-state)

  • Illinois spring showdown & Country Lax Fest 

  • Teams/age: combined team competing at the 8th-grade level (varsity middle school)

  • Class of 2031, 2032, 2033 competing at 2031 age group (same as varsity middle school)

  • Player Fee: $999

  • This covers:

  •  2 Tournament Entry Fees

  •  Team Uniform

  •  Coaching Staff 

  • 16x Practice Field Rentals

  • insurance

At Middle TN Voltage Lacrosse, we believe that training and travel opportunities shouldn’t be reserved for families with unlimited budgets. That’s why we’ve intentionally kept our player fee at $999, which is well below that of many comparable travel programs in the area. Our goal is to make competitive lacrosse accessible to more families without compromising on coaching quality, tournament exposure, or player development. Simply put, we care most about building the game and shaping young men.
